Watercolour
Watercolour is not a monologue
and it’s never boring.
It's like having a conversation;
you say something and the paint responds,
just not always in the way you expect.

Content
We will start you off with basic techniques to help develop your watercolour skills and walk you through some of the tricks and traps to avoid.
But we don’t just focus on teaching painting techniques, many sessions will introduce and explore other concepts, theories and approaches in art and art history so you can build your skills while gaining a fuller appreciation of art in general.
Taking time to look more closely at composition, light and shadow, form, perspective and a bit of art history will enhance your learning experience and in turn lift your artwork.
We always aim to take advantage of good weather and head outside – working on location, and painting from real life, because, albeit challenging, it’s the best way to learn.
Beginners and all levels are welcome.
