Marc’s Background
Marc has a background in film and theater though he was originally a scientist at the UK Ministry of Defence. He started as a gopher at Shepperton Studios before eventually working his way to art director. In those days we worked extensively with distemper, vinyl, casein and emulsion paints. He art directed Maxwell Tapes and Turkish Delight both directed by Howard Guard, which won eight awards.
Around 2010 he took up photography and filming, eventually focussing on helicopter operations. He’s worked with pilots throughout New Zealand, Alaska and the Canadian Arctic providing experiences resetting what is happening between the viewer and the subject.
